THE SKY IS THE LIMIT AT THE Y!
Each day the YMCA works with our neighbors to ensure everyone, regardless of age, income or background has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Thanks to generous donors, we are able to fulfill this mission through low cost programs and direct financial assistance for families in need. One hundred percent of all dollars donated are invested into programs serving children and families in our community.
THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING A GIFT TO THE YMCA!

The 4,340-square-foot outdoor pavilion designed to serve as an open air community space and classroom for campers. Multiple recreational features include an outdoor basketball court, a baseball/softball field and archery program area. This addition will allow the SRYMCA to reach more young people by doubling the size of the summer camp programs and creating a dynamic recreational space.
One of the key goals of the Outdoor Center is to foster experiential learning. The design includes an outdoor adventure course with a zip line, low ropes and high ropes elements.
“The new Outdoor Center opens the walls of the YMCA to bring diverse programming to what is now non-functioning outdoor space,” said Sean Andrews, CEO of SRYMCA.”And, with the ability to accommodate more than 300 campers, we will no longer have to turn Saratoga families away who want to avail themselves of our summer programs.”
The Outdoor Center plans comprise the first phase of a larger project to expand the Saratoga Springs branch. Future phases may include construction of a second pool and additional outdoor recreation space.
“As the community’s demand for our services continue to grow,we are excited that the Outdoor Center can provide a vital space for expanded summer camp programs,” said Jason MacGregor, President of the SRYMCA Board of Directors. This project has been led by Board of Director, Rick Schumaker, and SRYMCA COO, Kelly Armer.
