Human Resources Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:  

The HR Coordinator will provide administrative and project based support to the Human Resource department by performing a variety of day-to-day functions. This role will support all aspects of HR.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides administrative support of all core functions of the HR department
  • Maintains and ensures compliance of all employee files
  • Serves as back-up to HR Generalist in payroll administration
  • Processes status change forms in HRIS system
  • Plans and coordinates job fairs internally and externally
  • Handles opening of all requisitions and postings within Paylocity and external job boards
  • Ensures all applicants statuses are updated in the recruitment process
  • Prepares new hire packets, orientation binders, and termination packets/checklists
  • Assists in updating HR forms and HR drive
  • Schedules and coordinates HR trainings as requested
  • Maintains and updates Association training calendar
  • Prepares materials and helps organize employee performance reviews
  • Assists in HR reporting requirements as requested
  • Assists in special projects as needed
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to the mission of the YMCA and our three areas of focus: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility
  • Ability to articulate and model the Y’s four core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Paylocity experience is preferred
  • Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skill set
  • Advanced experience with Adobe
  • Advanced Powerpoint/presentation skill set
