A $75 non-refundable registration fee per family is due when the application for childcare is submitted. Upon registration, a deposit of the first week’s tuition and the last week’s tuition is required to hold each child’s spot until they officially begin receiving care at the center. The last week’s tuition will be held in the child’s account until their last week of service. Along with the registration fee and deposit, each child is required to have a current physical and updated immunization record on file.
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is a non-profit organization with a mission to not deny anyone’s ability to participate in programs due to inability to pay. Scholarships are available for qualifying families. The scholarships are obtained through generous donations received from community members, businesses, and YMCA members. A child applying for a scholarship may not register or enroll until an acceptance letter has been received from the Saratoga Regional YMCA.
Malta Childcare does participate with the Department of Social Services (DSS). Please contact the Saratoga County DSS office for qualifying information. Specific policies regarding DSS will be discussed upon enrollment. If DSS support is received, families are not entitled to additional YMCA Scholarship aid for childcare.
Weekly tuition is automatically drafted from a checking/savings/debit/credit account on Monday of each week for that week’s tuition. No monies will be accepted at the center. Partial payments will not be accepted.
