Thank you to everyone who helped with the recent TOGETHERHOOD book drive for the Saratoga Children's Literacy League and trail clean up outside the Saratoga Springs branch leading to the State Park.

The Saratoga Regional YMCA wants to ensure that water safety doesn’t get lost in the Saratoga community’s eagerness to jump into summer. As temperatures rise, kids want to cool off, whether that is in home pools, ponds, lakes, rivers, streams, or oceans.

Saratoga Regional YMCA Stingray swimmer, Sophia Alonzo, recently placed first in the 9/10 Girls 50 Butterfly event this past weekend at the NYS YMCA Championships where she also set a new Stingrays team record! 

This April we hosted a trail clean up near the Saratoga Y, Togetherhood volunteers cleaned litter found on the trail.

The Togetherhood program hosted a blood drive for the Red Cross on March 29th at the Saratoga Springs Branch. Togetherhood was able to come together to host this Red Cross blood drive on very short notice when another location fell through. Not only did they successfully plan this event on such short notice, but they even exceed expectations with 35 donations, 10 over the event's anticipated goal! Togetherhood hopes to continue regular blood drives to provide much needed life saving donations to the community.

The Saratoga Regional YMCA and the Saratoga Senior Center are excited to announce that the YMCA has obtained initial City approvals to proceed with a 17,000 square foot addition to its Saratoga Springs Branch that will become the new home of the Saratoga Senior Center. Construction of the facility is likely to begin in Spring 2022.

We are very pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Butler as the new Saratoga Springs Branch Executive Director!
