The join fee is a one-time fee paid when a member joins the YMCA. The funds are set aside and restricted for use on equipment replacements and major facility improvements.
Financial Assistance
The Saratoga Regional YMCA provides financial assistance for children, teens, adults and families who cannot afford the full cost of a Y membership or programs. For more information, please click here.
Active Military & Veterans
The Saratoga Regional YMCA honors the active military and veterans in our area by offering a reduction to their membership rate. As a thank you for your service to our country, a 10% reduction will be offered after confirmation of eligibility. Please contact the member service desk of any branch for further information. (Active duty personnel and their families supported by the Naval Support Activity, Saratoga Springs should contact the MWR office about their membership eligibility.)
Visitor/Guest Passes
Members are encouraged to bring guests. Guests may only visit the Saratoga Regional YMCA for free two times per calendar year (Jan1-Dec 31). Once a guest has used their two free visits, the guest must either join the YMCA or purchase a day pass. Day passes are available for $5 (ages 12 & under), $10 (age 13-18), $15 (adult), $25 (family). An adult member (age 18 or older) must accompany all guests for the duration of their visit. Approved government issued (U.S.) photo identification is required for all visitors/guests and a waiver form must be completed.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
The Saratoga Regional YMCA will refund your membership or program fee within three (3) days of purchase. After three (3) days, credit will be issued.
Per the New York State Gym Cancellation Law, members who cancel their membership with more than 10 days remaining in their current billing cycle are entitled to a prorated refund for the unused portion of their membership. Our 10-day cancellation policy begins on the day a cancellation request is submitted (day zero plus 10 days) to determine the final cancellation date and any applicable refund.
Program fees are fully refundable if withdrawal from a class occurs due to a doctor-documented illness or if the program is canceled due to lack of enrollment; however, deposits are non-refundable. After the first week of a program, credit amounts are at the discretion of the Program Director.
