Wilton Renovations Begin Sept. 14, 2026

Dear Wilton YMCA Members,

We are thrilled to share some exciting news about the future of your Wilton YMCA!

Beginning Monday, September 14, we will officially kick off the first phase of a significant facility improvement project designed to enhance your YMCA experience for years to come. This approximately one-year renovation effort will bring meaningful upgrades throughout the building, creating spaces that better support the health, wellness, and connection of our members and community.

Over the coming months, members can look forward to:

  • Enhanced fitness and wellness spaces
  • Updated program areas
  • New and refreshed equipment
  • Improved member amenities
  • Modernized environments that better support our community's health and wellness goals

These investments reflect our ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional YMCA experience and ensuring that the Wilton YMCA remains a welcoming, vibrant place for all.

The first phase of the project will focus on the Athletic Training Center (ATC) on the second floor and will begin on Monday, September 14. Equipment will be moved out on Friday, September 11. The space will be accessible for use through Sunday evening but it will be empty. To allow for renovations and equipment upgrades, the ATC is expected to be closed for approximately 4-6 weeks.  While we understand this temporary closure may create some inconvenience, we are confident the improvements will be well worth it.

As renovations progress, we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. We will provide regular updates regarding project timelines, completed improvements, and any temporary impacts to member spaces or programs. Communication will be shared through email, signage within the facility, our website, and social media channels.

We know renovations can be disruptive at times, but they also represent an exciting opportunity to build something even better together. We appreciate your patience, flexibility, and support as we embark on this transformative project.

We cannot wait to share these improvements with you and look forward to unveiling each phase as it is completed.
