25 Cancer Survivors Graduate from the Spring Session of the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA Program

This session marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time the association has been able to offer the program at all of its 6 branches.
SRYMCA Launches Public Phase of $5.5 Million Capital Campaign to Transform Glens Falls Branch

Glens Falls, NY — The Saratoga Regional YMCA (SRYMCA) is proud to announce the public launch of its Capital Campaign to revitalize and reimagine the Glens Falls Branch—one of the community’s most cherished gathering spaces for over 130 years.
With a goal of raising $5.5 million, this ambitious campaign will breathe new life into the aging facility, ensuring it continues to serve thousands of families, children, and individuals—while expanding our capacity to welcome even more in the years ahead. Planned renovations include modernized locker rooms, enhanced wellness areas, essential infrastructure upgrades, and the addition of an exciting new indoor youth climbing center.
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is excited to announce its partnership with the Corinth Central School District to provide free swim lessons to all second-grade students within the district this spring. This seven-week program, which is currently in its fifth week, is designed to teach children valuable water safety skills and swimming techniques, benefiting children of all skill levels.

The Glens Falls Y Becomes the Sixth Branch of the Saratoga Regional YMCA Association

The Saratoga Regional YMCA and the Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area are pleased to announce that the Family YMCA of the Glens Falls Area is set to join the Saratoga Regional YMCA as one of its six branches. This partnership builds on a two-year management agreement during which the Saratoga Regional YMCA supported the Glens Falls YMCA’s operations and finances. The collaboration has highlighted the strengths and shared values of both organizations, leading to the decision for the Glens Falls YMCA to formally join the Saratoga Regional YMCA.
Saratoga Regional YMCA Hosts First-Ever Noon-Year’s Event

Families rang in the New Year a little early at the Saratoga Regional YMCA’s first-ever Noon-Year’s Event, held at the Saratoga Springs Branch on December 31. Over 500 attendees enjoyed bounce houses, crafts, and other activities, all leading up to a countdown and ball drop at noon.
