SCOTT CLARK JOINS THE SARATOGA REGIONAL YMCA AS VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Saratoga Springs, NY – (March 12, 2019) – The Saratoga Regional YMCA has announced the appointment of Scott Clark as the Vice President of Operations for the association.

In this role, Clark will lead the operations of the Saratoga Regional YMCA’s five branches, including all aspects of membership, programs and childcare.  Clark’s experience in operations, facilities, membership and health and wellness will play a critical role in leading the Saratoga Regional YMCA to expand their membership base while becoming one of the most recognizable charities in Saratoga County.

“There are a multitude of reasons I am excited to have Scott join the SRY team including 22 years of executive experience with two of the larger Y associations in the country” said Andrew Bobbitt, CEO, Saratoga Regional YMCA.  “That operational expertise will serve us well as we refine and grow to better serve our communities.”

Clark has worked within the YMCA movement in multiple capacities for 31 years.  He comes to the Saratoga Regional YMCA from the YMCA of Greater Kansas City, where he held the role of Vice President of Operations and oversaw seven full service YMCA facilities with an annual budget of over $15 million.  Clark was also responsible for leading strategic planning efforts that aligned operations with the overall goals of the YMCA of the Greater Kansas City.

Clark earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Commercial Recreation Management from Michigan State University.
