Building Stronger Futures, One Community at a Time

Strong communities grow when partners show up—again and again. This year, the Saratoga Regional YMCA is grateful to receive a generous $20,000 donation from Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) in support of the Corinth Branch’s Annual Campaign, marking yet another example of the credit union’s ongoing commitment to community health, youth development, and working families.

The YMCA’s Annual Campaign provides critical funding to ensure that children, families, and individuals throughout the community have access to essential programs, regardless of their ability to pay. From reliable childcare to youth enrichment and wellness initiatives, these programs help remove barriers and create opportunities for people of all ages to thrive.

“Hudson River Community Credit Union is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Sue Commanda, CEO of HRCCU. “Supporting the Saratoga Regional YMCA’s Annual Campaign allows us to help expand access to programs that promote healthy lifestyles, provide reliable childcare, and give young people the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.”

A portion of HRCCU’s donation supports the Corinth Branch’s After School Enrichment Program, which serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The program provides a safe, supportive environment where children can engage in educational activities, build social skills, and develop healthy habits beyond the school day—offering both enrichment for youth and peace of mind for families.

“We are incredibly grateful to Hudson River Community Credit Union for their continued support of our Annual Campaign,” said Allison D’Antonio, CEO of the Saratoga Regional YMCA. “This contribution allows us to continue supporting families through our afterschool programming while also sustaining our health, wellness, and community health initiatives. Gifts like this ensure that children, families, and individuals of all ages can rely on the YMCA as a trusted resource for learning, connection, and healthy living.”

Through ongoing partnerships like this one, HRCCU continues to invest in organizations that enhance quality of life across the region—and the YMCA continues its mission to ensure everyone has access to the resources they need to lead healthy, connected, and productive lives.
