GENERAL VOLUNTEERING

YMCA branch volunteers help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Opportunities include greeting members, helping our administrative teams and lending an extra hand where it’s needed.

ANNUAL CAMPAIGN VOLUNTEER

Generosity comes in many forms, and it's often the best way to support important causes that matter the most in our lives. Each year, we look for volunteers to lead fundraising teams that help the Association meet our Annual Campaign goals. 100% of the dollars raised toward the YMCA Annual Campaign goes directly to those in need in our own communities.

KIDZCARE VOLUNTEER

YMCAs provide child care for parents using the facility. Volunteers are an extra set of hands to rock a baby, or to play games with young children or lead an art project for our older kids. Or volunteer to come and speak about your job or hobby.

POLLINATOR GARDEN

The Saratoga Springs branch has a beautiful pollinator garden, thanks to a group of volunteers led by Joy K. The garden, planted in 2021, is in it's third year and provides food sources and habitats for pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, birds caterpillars and more-which are critical to a healthy ecosystem. Click here to learn more.

SPORTS COACHES

Use your talents to encourage, guide and train young athletes at the YMCA by coaching youth sports including basketball, soccer, T-ball and baseball.

YOUTH PROGRAM VOLUNTEER

Like kids? So do we. Volunteer in any one of our many youth programs. Help with homework during YMCA After School, teach a creative skill, read books to kids or lead games.
