Free Swim Lessons For Eligible Families

Fall 2026

NY Swims, a grant funded program made possible by the New York State Department of Health is being offered at the Saratoga Regional YMCA. Families with children ages 6 months - 12 years may qualify for FREE swim lessons at the Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls YMCA.

This initiative is designed to expand access to swim lessons for children who may otherwise face barriers to participation.

Eligible participants (ages 6 months-12 years) will receive:

• Three, 7 week sessions of swim lessons (a total of 21 swim lessons)
• Age appropriate instruction focused on water safety, confidence, and swimming skills
